Continuing Professional Development
Our staff are encouraged to complete Continuous Professional Development (CPD) throughout the year to enhance their skills and remain informed of current industry best practices.
We provide regular Safeguarding training through a whole staff approach, alongside role-specific training tailored to the responsibilities of individual staff members.
The ongoing CPD helps ensure that our staff are well equipped to provide high-quality support, maintain compliance and promote the wellbeing of the children in our care.

As part of our commitment to supporting high-quality inclusive practice, we offer CPD visits to schools and educational settings throughout Stockport. These visits provide opportunities for professionals to see effective strategies in action, gain practical insights, and engage in dialogue around teaching, learning, and provision. By opening our doors, we hope to share our experience, inspire new ideas, and support the ongoing development of practice for the benefit of all children and families.
We also host several SEND Hub meetings on behalf of Stockport Council. These sessions provide an opportunity for practitioners to access advice and support from a multi-disciplinary team, including Educational Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Portage, and other specialist professionals. Each meeting also includes a guest speaker, offering valuable insights and updates on a range of SEND-related topics.
