Arthur’s faith shone through everything that he did, and for 39 years Charnwood was truly at the centre of his heart. He gave so much of himself, whether raising funds by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and sharing his adventure with children in schools or quietly answering the alarm in the middle of the night to make sure everything was safe! Arthur was so often busy in the background, his dedication was never about recognition, but about love, service, and a deep belief in what Charnwood stood for. Arthur was a gift to us all, and his legacy of kindness and commitment will always be part of the Charnwood story.

In his memory, a fund has been created to continue Arthur’s legacy. This fund is there to support children, families, and staff who may be facing hardship, ensuring that the compassion and generosity Arthur lived by will carry on, bringing comfort and strength to our Charnwood community just as he always did.
